Your host at La Piazza Cucina Italiana is Joseph “Joey M” Montello.

Beyond his culinary skills, Joey M always had a passion for singing. Thanks to his good friend radio legend Bob Pantano, Joey M was given his start when Bob unexpectedly put him onstage in a room of over 1000 people, and broadcast it live to an audience of over 35,000. After that, Joey M began to perform in many different venues hosted by Bob Pantano including the New Jersey State Fair. In December 1988, Bob put Joey M on the radio for an entire hour of Christmas music with accomplished songwriter/composer Richie Rome.

Over the years, Joey M has performed with many legendary artists including Bobby Rydell, Frankie Avalon, James Darren, Jimmy Beaumont and The Skyliners, The Duprees, Martha Reeves, Mary Wilson of the Supremes, and hundreds more.

After opening La Piazza, Joey M began performing in a place where “he would always have a job singing.”
